Mocean Ltd, DT Box Dave Thompson the designer of the Inspiration also designed the DT Box, which is made by Dave Townsend of Mocean Ltd. It is well constucted in stainless steel and weighs slightly more than the original Inspiration case. The case is easier to pack away when traveling and enables large steel cylinders to be fitted eliminating the need for a weight belt and giving the user plenty of extra gas for bailout, drysuit or wing inflation. |

| Top View In the photo above and to the right you can see the hinged lid and the adjustable locking clasp. In the photo to the right you can see the angled handle which is held in place with two bolts and can be turned round if required. The scrubber drops in from the top, if you have an ADV you may have to fit a 90 degree fitting on the manifold LP port to stop fouling when inserting or removing the scrubber. |

| Side View In the photo to the right you can see the lid is open and the three welded stainless steel weight belt retainers which allow you to attach just about any size of cylinder with cam bands, on the next batch we are going to get the single weight belt retainer removed as it is not needed since the last lot of modifications we got Dave to do. The other two weight belt retainers will be moved down slightly. |

| Back View In the photo to the right you can see the manifold mounting bracket and the studs for attaching the Box to a alloy or Stainless Steel backplate or the standard Inspiration Harness, the welded studs are mounted 11" apart, centre to centre. Note the curved base which we asked Dave to make so as to mould to your backside better, on the next batch we are going to get the studs replaced with bolts and three mounting holes drilled at the top and bottom of the Box so it can be adjusted up and down on the harness or backplate. |

| Ordering Dave makes the DT Boxs in batchs of 5, so you may have to wait until a batch of 5 have been ordered before they are built. The photo to the right was taken before the last lot of modifications and shows it with twin 10L 232 bar steels, but I have a friends who use it with twin 7L 300 bar steels which keeps the width of the unit down. The cost is £325 without cam bands but including postage and packing anywhere in the UK.
