All of the courses below are related to diving in one way or another but take place in the classroom, and no diving is required to complete the relevant training.

Please be aware that the time a course actually takes to teach is dependent upon many factors, including the number of students enrolled on the course and their ability to process the educational components of the course along with any prior diving experience.

  DAN Oxygen First Aid For Aquatic Emergencies
£55 4 Hours
The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies course represents training designed to educate the public to recognise possible aquatic related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest medical facility.

  DAN Oxygen First Aid For Scuba Diving Injuries
£55 4 Hours
The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course represents entry-level training to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. The prerequisites are a minimum age of 12, and current CPR training from a recognized agency, such as the SDI CPR1ST course or the PADI EFR course. This can be provided for you at additional cost.

We can also certify you with a PADI Oxygen First Aid Specialty for an extra £20 after the completion of the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course.

  DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid For Scuba Diving Injuries
£55 4 Hours
 
The DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course is an training program for those individuals who have successfully completed the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course within the past year (12 months). It is designed to train DAN Oxygen Providers to use a positive pressure valve (as the MTV100) and/or a bag-valve-mask (BVM); depending on local legal laws and regulations.

  DAN First Aid For Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
£55 4 Hours
The DAN First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course represents entry-level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to identify hazardous marine life, to recognise possible injuries caused by hazardous marine life, to provide first aid for hazardous marine life injuries and to avoid hazardous marine life injuries.

  DAN Automated External Defibrilation For Scuba Diving
£55 4 Hours
The DAN Automated External Defibrillator course (AED) for Scuba Diving represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise the warning signs of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and administer first aid using Basic Life Support techniques and an Automated External Defibrillator while activating the local emergency medical services, (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest appropriate medical facility.

  DAN Medical Oxygen Rebreather For Scuba Diving Injuries
£69 3 Hours
The DAN Medical Oxygen Rebreather (MO2R) course is an training program for those individuals who have successfully completed the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course within the past year (12 months). It trains DAN Oxygen Providers to recognise diving injuries where an MO2R System will be an effective method of providing emergency oxygen first aid and how to assemble and provide emergency oxygen first aid using an MO2R. The MO2R System will benifit a responsive and breathing injured diver where there is substantial distance to the nearest medical facility or delay to the next level of emergency response. A MO2R is designed to provide high concentrations of emergency oxygen for up to eight hours.

  DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider
£209 12 Hours
DAN offers several dive-specific first aid training programs. Because these courses are often taught independently, there is repetitive information and skills. The Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) course allows DAN Instructors to offer an integrated course that allows divers to learn the information and skills in DAN Training Programs, at a significant savings of time, but without sacrificing any skills.
The Diving Emergency Management Provider course combines the skills and knowledge from Oxygen First Aid For Scuba Diving Injuries, Automated External Defibrilation and the Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course.
 
 
  DAN Diving First Responder
£279 16 Hours
DAN offers several dive-specific first aid training programs. Because these courses are often taught independently, there is repetitive information and skills. The Diving First Responder (DFR) course allows DAN Instructors to offer an integrated course that allows divers to learn the information and skills in DAN Training Programs, at a significant savings of time, but without sacrificing any skills.
The Diving First Responder course combines the skills and knowledge from Oxygen First Aid For Scuba Diving Injuries, Advanced Oxygen First Aid For Scuba Diving Injuries, Automated External Defibrilation and the Hazardous Marine Life Injuries and course.
